Although the business was originally started and run by Nick for several years, the whole family is now actively involved.

Nick began producing jewellery in 1974 in England; has been cutting opal for more than 30 years and has over 20 years mining experience. His son, David, began making jewellery at the age of 12 and became a qualified jeweller by the time he was 19.

Kay retired from teaching in 2002 and now specializes in making pearl and gemstone jewellery. Both daughters Elice and Cara cut opal, make jewellery, and help in the coffee shop between university and school commitments.
